Quickstart
Each IP on an ISP proxy plan has its own username. All usernames on the plan share one password, and every IP connects through isp.shifter.io:443 over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5.
-
Open your plan
Log in at shifter.io/panel, open My Plans, and select your ISP Proxies plan.
-
Place your IPs
The plan page shows a location picker. Search by country, state, city, ISP name or ASN, and assign IPs to the city + ISP (ASN) pairs you want. Each location shows live availability. You do not have to place every IP at once: save what you have and come back for the rest. See Placing your IPs.
-
Copy your credentials
Every placed IP gets a username like
us-new_york-new_york-as701-Ksj25. The shared password is shown on the plan page. Use Copy or download the list as a .txt file. Each line is available in either format:isp.shifter.io:443:USERNAME:PASSWORDUSERNAME:PASSWORD@isp.shifter.io:443 -
Send a request
Fill in
USERNAMEandPASSWORDfrom the panel. Host and port are alwaysisp.shifter.io:443, for both HTTP(S) and SOCKS5.Terminal window curl -x http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@isp.shifter.io:443 \http://ip-info.com/jsonTerminal window curl --socks5-hostname USERNAME:PASSWORD@isp.shifter.io:443 \http://ip-info.com/jsonimport requestsproxy = "http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@isp.shifter.io:443"# SOCKS5: "socks5h://USERNAME:PASSWORD@isp.shifter.io:443" (pip install requests[socks])r = requests.get("http://ip-info.com/json", proxies={"http": proxy, "https": proxy})print(r.text)import fetch from 'node-fetch';import { HttpsProxyAgent } from 'https-proxy-agent';const agent = new HttpsProxyAgent('http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@isp.shifter.io:443');const res = await fetch('http://ip-info.com/json', { agent });console.log(await res.text()); -
Check the location
The response shows the city and ISP you placed that username on. Each proxy keeps its city and ISP for as long as the plan is active. The IP address behind it can refresh over time, like a real home connection.
-
Spread the work across your IPs
Keep one username per worker, per account, or per target site so each identity stays on its own city and ISP.
- Managing IPs, place IPs by city and ISP, copy credentials, test connectivity.
- Use cases, account management, long sessions, city and ISP checks.
