The short version

  • Proxy-Seller returned 265,835 live IPs across five countries, the fourth deepest in our series.
  • Our own October rerun counted 212,212 live US addresses against its 139,933, though that is still among the deepest US results in the series.
  • Reliability was solid at 97.2% to 99.3%, and responses were quick, 371 ms to 703 ms.
  • The price ladder stops falling at 50 GB, so a 100 GB buyer and a 500 GB buyer pay the same $2.20 per GB.
  • Each country needs its own credential pair rather than a parameter on one gateway.

What we measured

Live IPs each network had answering during the same test window, five countries, identical request volumes and concurrency for both sides.

How deep the pool runs

Our own network, re-measured on 7 October 2026 with the identical test, returned 212,212 live US addresses against Proxy-Seller's 139,933, a 51.7% lead. Across all five countries we served 390,093 against its 265,835, ahead in every one. It is still one of the deeper pools we have measured.

Spread widens the gap. Our addresses came from 2,721 distinct operators across the five countries against its 1,804, and France is the sharpest example: 147 networks against 48. Anti-bot systems key on the operator behind an address, so that gap matters as much as the pool difference.

One observation worth recording: Proxy-Seller and Infatica share between 63% and 84% of their addresses depending on the country, and their British counts landed 17 apart. We are stating the overlap we measured, not making a claim about how either network is sourced.

Per-country accounts and a ladder that stops

Most residential networks take a country as a parameter on one gateway. Proxy-Seller issues a separate credential pair per country, which is why our first attempt only ever returned US exits. For a single-market job that is irrelevant. For anything spanning several countries it means buying, storing and rotating multiple accounts.

The pricing curve is the other structural issue. It falls from $2.50 to $2.20 by 50 GB and then stops. Buying ten times more traffic earns you nothing, which is unusual in a market where rates normally keep descending.

Our own rate is $1.00 per GB at 100 GB and $0.75 at volume from a single set of credentials covering every country, which is a disclosed commercial interest.

Pricing

Plan Traffic Per GB Monthly
Entry 3 GB $2.50 $9
Mid 50 GB $2.20 $115
Larger 100 GB $2.20 $220

Pros and cons

Pros
  • Deep pool: 265,835 live addresses, 139,933 of them in the United States
  • Quick responses, 371 ms to 703 ms across the countries tested
  • 220+ locations, the widest country list of any network we measured
  • 220+ locations with ISP-level targeting and a $1.99 trial
Cons
  • A separate account per country, awkward for multi-market work
  • Price stops improving at 50 GB, so volume buys nothing
  • Network spread well behind the leaders, 48 French operators against 147
  • Shares most of its measured addresses with another provider in our test

Who Proxy-Seller is for

Buy it if
  • You work in one or two countries and want a deep pool with quick responses.
  • You buy around 50 GB, where the flat ladder is at its most competitive.
  • You want a cheap paid trial before committing.
Look elsewhere if
  • You target many countries, since each one is a separate account to buy and wire up.
  • You expect volume discounts, because the rate flattens at 50 GB.
  • You need the widest network spread, particularly in France.

How we scored it

Criterion Weight Score Basis
Live pool measured 25% 6.6 265,835 IPs live across five countries, against the tested field.
Network spread measured 20% 5.8 1,804 distinct networks across five countries.
Price per GB measured 25% 6.6 $2.20 per GB, reached at 50 GB and flat above it. The 3 GB entry tier is $2.50.
Response time measured 10% 9.5 507 ms average across the countries tested.
Country coverage 10% 10 195+ countries advertised, scaled against full global coverage.
Features 5% 7 ISP and city targeting, sticky sessions, wide location list. Marked down because country selection requires separate credentials rather than a gateway parameter.
Transparency 5% 7.5 Prices are published and a cheap trial exists. The per-country account requirement is not obvious before purchase.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Proxy-Seller.

Not on pool size after our 7 October 2026 rerun: we served 212,212 live US IPs against its 139,933, led all five countries and reached more networks in every one. Proxy-Seller did answer faster in the United Kingdom, France and Germany, by 35 ms to 76 ms.

Its residential gateway serves a fixed country per credential pair rather than taking a country parameter. Our first test only returned US exits for exactly this reason, and each of the other four countries needed its own sub-account.

Not meaningfully. The rate reaches $2.20 per GB at 50 GB and stays there, so a 500 GB buyer pays the same per gigabyte as a 50 GB buyer.

Decodo offers a comparable pool with a ladder that keeps falling. Our own network, Shifter, measured 390,093 live IPs across the same five countries from one set of credentials covering every country, at $0.75 per GB at volume.
